As a third generation resident of Los Gatos I have deep roots here.  I grew up here, went to school here, raised my family here; and I started several businesses here. I’ve also served the Community here.  I possess a strong connection and a depth of local knowledge to the communities, culture and sub markets of the area.

In addition to real estate, my background is in the development and construction of luxury custom homes.  As founder and owner of W. L. Taylor Construction, my company built and renovated homes from Los Gatos to Atherton for over 25 years.  We won the first ever Green Building award in Atherton, and built the first GreenPoint Rated home in Los Altos. My knowledge of development, construction, building codes and permitting simply cannot be matched by mere realtors.

I’ve negotiated hundreds of successful transactions and contracts.  In all of them, one thing stands out: integrity.  On either side of the transaction, my style is simple, honest and fair.

I have a diverse clientele that covers just about every situation… buyers looking to upgrade, investors, builders, real estate developers; and sellers who are downsizing, trustees, executors for probate sales, or folks moving out of the area.  Most are repeat customers or referrals.  Many have become personal friends.

I live in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Los Gatos with my wife of over 25 years, Christine, and our two sons. Both sons are Eagle Scouts and are currently attending college.  I’m a former Scout Leader for over 15 years with Scouts USA (formerly Boy Scouts of America) volunteering as Cubmaster for Pack 509, Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 2 in Los Gatos and District Commissioner for Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council.  I’m a past Board member for the Loma Public Education Fund.  I currently serve as a Stephen Minister for a church in Aptos, CA, providing one-on-one caring for people experiencing life difficulties.  We enjoy all the beautiful offerings of the Bay Area, especially the beaches, preserves, parks and trails.
